These Terms of Sale govern the purchase of products from Pet Planet Trowbridge. Please read them carefully before placing an order. By making a purchase from us, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Products and Availability

We make every effort to display product information, including descriptions, images, and prices, as accurately as possible. However, product appearance may vary slightly depending on your screen or device. All products are subject to availability. If an item you have ordered becomes out of stock, we will inform you as soon as possible and offer either a suitable alternative, a revised delivery date, or a full refund.

Orders and Contract Formation

All orders placed through our website are an offer to purchase. Your order is accepted, and a binding contract is formed only when we dispatch your goods and send you a dispatch confirmation email. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including, but not limited to, stock unavailability, pricing errors, or concerns over payment security. If your order is cancelled, any payment you have made will be fully refunded.

Prices and Payment

All prices are displayed in Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include any applicable VAT where required. Prices may change from time to time, but the price you pay is the one confirmed at checkout. We accept the payment methods listed on our Payment & Billing page. Payment is taken securely through trusted third‑party providers at the time you place your order. We do not hold or have access to your complete card details.

Delivery

Delivery options, costs, and estimated timeframes are set out in our Shipping & Delivery policy. While we work hard to meet all delivery estimates, they are not guaranteed. Delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, such as courier disruption or extreme weather, may occur. Risk of loss or damage to the goods passes to you upon delivery, provided the goods have been correctly addressed.

Your Right to Cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods without giving any reason. This statutory cancellation period runs alongside and is additional to our own voluntary 30‑day returns window. To cancel, you must notify us in writing using the contact details above. You then have a further 14 days to return the goods to us in their original, unused condition. We will refund the cost of the goods and any standard delivery charge within 14 days of receiving the returned items. If you used a more expensive delivery option, only the equivalent standard delivery cost will be refunded.

Please note that the right to cancel does not apply to sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once opened, or to items that have been personalised or custom‑made for you.

Returns and Refunds

Our full Returns & Refund policy applies to all purchases and provides a 30‑day return window from the date of delivery. That policy explains how to request a return, how refunds are processed, and which items are non‑returnable. Any return made under this Terms of Sale is subject to the conditions set out in that policy.

Title to Goods

Full legal ownership of the goods passes to you only once we have received payment in full for all sums due, including any delivery charges. Until that time, the goods remain the property of Pet Planet Trowbridge.

Limitation of Liability

Our liability to you is limited as set out in our Terms of Service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss or damage arising from the purchase or use of our products. Nothing in these Terms of Sale affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable UK consumer protection legislation.

Events Outside Our Control

We will not be held responsible for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where that failure or delay results from any cause beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, severe weather, fire, flood, pandemic, strike, lock‑out, or disruption to transportation or telecommunications networks. If such an event occurs, we will contact you as soon as possible and take reasonable steps to minimise the impact on your order.

Product Safety and Use

Our products are sold for the purposes described on the relevant product page. It is your responsibility to use all products safely and in accordance with any instructions or guidelines provided. Pet Planet Trowbridge cannot accept liability for misuse of any product or for any injury to pets or persons arising from failure to follow appropriate safety precautions.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Sale are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute relating to these terms, or to a purchase made from us, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms of Sale from time to time. The version in force at the time you place your order will apply to that transaction. The most up‑to‑date version will always be available on this page.
